Manchester Education has congratulated its boys and girls basketball teams that participated in the Kashmir Basketball League that concluded at Sheri-Kashmir Indoor Stadium.
The teams played under the banner of ‘Team Manchester’ anddominated the whole tournament. The boys team members Wasiq Ashraf, DanishPandit, Labeeb Bhat, Aukif Khan, Syed Waleed, Uzair Shafi, Mohammed Faris,Faisal Rathore and Junaid Farooq. The boys side emerged out as winner.
Aukif Khan had a magestic tournament as he not only scoredthe highest number of points for his team but was also the top scorer of the tournament. He was also awardedthe MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the tournament.
The girls basketball team of Team Manchester had membersAdeena Wani, Hadiyah Muzaffar,
Mehwish Manzoor, Wardah Shah, Hadeeqa Tariq,Tanzeela Bashir,Badr-ul-Nisa,Taranum Lone
Fallah Aashiq Mattoo who played well throughout thetournament. They missed title and had to contend with runners up trophy.
