A Mountain Terrain Bike (MTB) expedition undertaken by the ‘GARUDAS’ of the Army’s Snow Leopard Brigade was ‘flagged in’ by Lieutenant General YK Joshi, General Officer Commanding Fire & Fury Corps on Wednesday.
The expedition team comprised of a strength of 12 cyclistsand was ‘flagged off’ on Saturday ]from Hall of Flame, Leh, according to astatement issued by PRO Defence, Srinagar. It covered a distance of more than 400 kms across Khardung La, the highestmotorable pass of the world. The teaminteracted with locals and tourists enroute.
