Kashmir University started its campaign in the North Zone Badminton Inter-University Tournament (men) with a win against Bundelkhand University Jhansi at MDU Rohtak on Monday.
Kashmir University team played aggressively from the start of the match and won three straight sets in best of five.
Giving details from Rohtak, Assistant Director Physical Education and Sports, Nadeem Ahmad said that it is a joyous moment for all, seeing our players performing well at national level and winning the match comprehensively against a strong side. The players are upbeat and ready for the next match.
Meanwhile Dr.Nisar Ahmad Khan, Coordinator (sports) has also congratulated the team for its excellent performance and wished the team best of luck for the next round.
