Delhi defeated hosts J&K by 2-0 in the 73rd Santosh Trophy national football championship at Katra on Wednesday.
J&K was playing its second match of the group phase. Both the goals in the match were scored in first half. Delhi lead points table in the group with six points. J&K had won its first match of the event against Uttarakhand by 3-1. They will next face Chandigarh.
In the second match of the day, Chandigarh defeated Uttarakhand by 4-1. Amit Kumar scored two goals while Ravinder Singh and Gaurav Negi scored one goal each for Chandigarh. For Uttarakhand Chirag Negi scored the lone goal. The event is organized by J&K Football Association.
