SFA holds selection trials in Doda, Kishtwar

State Football Academy (SFA) of Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council (JKSSC) conducted selection trials under its Mission-22 initiative to select players for the district football units of Doda and Kishtwar. The trials in Doda and Kishtwar were conducted by the selection committee comprising head coach SFA Satpal Singh and SFA coach Rajinder Singh. While as The trials in Doda and Kishtwar district was coordinated by Babar Mughal and Rajinder Sen respectively.

The trials in Doda were conducted at Degree College Bhaderwah Ground in which around 90 football aspirants from different parts of the district participated. In the trials, the selection penal selected 55 footballers under three age groups of  13, 15, and 18 respectively on various parameters.

Meanwhile, in Kishtwar district, around 100 enthusiastic footballers turned up for the selection trials.

In that 60 footballers under three age categories 13, 15 and 18 respectively could make it to the final selection list after going through requisite criteria.
