Mega sports event organized by District Youth Services and Sports Pulwama concluded at District Jail Correctional Home, here on Monday.
Secretary DLSA Khurshid-ul- Islam was theChief guest on the occasion. During the event the inmates participated invarious games including Tug of War, Kho Kho, and Volley Ball.
Speaking on the occasion, the secretaryDLSA said that such events will develop positive attitude in intimates, besidesproviding platform for showcasing their talent.
Later, awards and mementos were distributedamong the winners. Patently, the event was inaugurated by the DDC Pulwama, DrRaghav Langer on February 22. Jail Superintend Reyaz Ahmad Dar, AdditionalSP Shopian, District Sports Officer, other officials and scores of intimateswere present on the occasion.
