In the ongoing under-14 Shadab Cricket tournament, two matches were played at Shadab Higher Secondary School, Mala Bagh here on Wednesday.
In the first match, Sanctorum school Sopore defeated HatrickPublic School by nine wickets. Mohammad Zaid of sanctorum was named man of thematch for taking two wickets and scoring 34 runs.
In the second match, Burn Hall school defeated Caset School,Karan nagar by five wickets. Mehrooz of Burn Hall School was named man of thematch for his 14 ball 27-run knock.
With the wins, both Sanctorum School and Burn Hall Schoolhave qualified for the semifinals. The tournament is being organised by ShadabHigher Secondary School, Mala Bagh.
