U-19 Women's T20 League: J&K suffer defeat against Uttar Pradesh

Batting first Uttar Pradesh went on to post a huge total of 180 runs for the loss of three wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

J&K Under-19 women’s team suffered 121-run defeat against Uttar Pradesh as they were bundled out for 59 runs in the match of the Women’s Cricket Under-19 T20 League (2018-19) at SCA Stadium Khanderi B Ground, Rajkot on Wednesday.

Batting first Uttar Pradesh went on to post a huge total of 180 runs for the loss of three wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Neetu Gaur with unbeaten 73 was the highest scorer for them while as Shobha Devi scored 60. Anjali Singh remained not out on 21. For J&K, Iqra Rasool and Rehana Bano took one wicket each.

In reply, J&K were bundled out for 59 runs in 17 overs. Nancy Gill, Iqra Rasool and Humaira Farooq with 15 runs each were the highest scorers for J&K. For Uttar Pradesh Anjali Singh took three wickets.
