J&K Under-23 team suffered another defeat in the ongoing Under-23 Mens One Day League as they were beaten Madhya Pradesh KL Saini Stadium, Jaipur on Sunday.
Batting first, Madhya Pradesh posted 270 runs for the loss of seven wickets on board in allotted 50 overs. Parth Goswami with 86 runs was highest scorer for them while as Nikhil Misra and Yash Dubey scored 51 each. For J&K, Abid Mushtaq took two wickets.
In reply J&K failed to chase down the target as they were bundled out for 214 runs in 43.1 overs. Jiyad Nazir Magrey with 78 run knock was highest scorer for them while as Auquib Nabi scored 32. J&K lost by 56 runs. J&K have now suffered three consecutive defeats and stand at 17th place in the Elite Group.
