Nadia Chowdhary starred with bat and Heena Kousar with ball as J&K ended its streak of defeats in the ongoing Women’s Cricket Under-23 T20 League-2018-19, defeating Mizoram by a huge margin of 123 runs at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot on Tuesday.
Nadia Chowdhary played a sensational knock of 87 runs from mere 48 balls as she helped J&K post a huge total of 191 runs in allotted 20 overs. In reply Mizoram chase was jolted by Heena Kousar who picked up four wickets. Mizoram could manage only 68 runs in 20 overs to hand J&K an easy win. It is first win for the J&K in the tournament after having suffered five consecutive defeats.
