U-23 Women's T20 Tourney: Saurashtra beat J&K by 20 runs

Batting first Saurashtra were able to score 111 runs for the loss of seven wickets in allotted 20 overs. Riddhi Ruparel with 65 run knock was highest scorer for them while as Meghna Jambucha with 11 runs was next best scorer.

J&K Under-23 women’s cricket team suffered second straight defeat in the ongoing Women’s Cricket Under-23 T20 League-2018-19 as they were defeated by hosts Saurashtra by 20 runs at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium Rajkot on Wednesday.

Batting first Saurashtra were able to score 111 runs for the loss of seven wickets in allotted 20 overs. Riddhi Ruparel with 65 run knock was highest scorer for them while as Meghna Jambucha with 11 runs was next best scorer. For J&K, Nadia Chowdary took three two wickets while as Bismah, Heena and Rudrakshi took one each.

In reply, J&K were able to score only 91 runs for the loss of four wickets in allotted 20 overs. Sonika with 39 runs not out was highest scorer for them while as Nadia Chowdhary scored 21. Bismah Hassan and Farkhandha Khan scored 11 runs each.

It was second defeat for J&K in the tournament after having suffered crushing defeat against Railways on Tuesday. J&K will play its next match against Madhya Pradesh on January 18.
