Government Women’s College MA Road conducted its annul road race on Wednesday in which Zeenat Ashraf emerged out as winner.
The run was conducted from SKICC to Nishat Garden in whicharound 100 students belonging to various departments of the collegeparticipated. Zeenat Ashraf, Mehak-i-Aisha and Zareena Bano bagged first threepositions respectively in the event.
The 6.5 kilometer race was flagged off by the collegePrincipal, Prof. (Dr.) Yasmeen Ashai from SKICC and it culminated at Nishatgarden.
Zeenat finished first with the timing of 25.37 minutes whileas Mehak secured second position with the timing of 25.59 minutes. Zareena Banofinished third with the timing of 26.32 minutes.
The prize distribution was held at Nishat garden in whichProf. Yasmeen Ashai was the chief guest.
The first three position holders were awarded with trophiesand T-shirts while as next seven position holders were awarded with medals.
