Kashmiri fest held at Doon International school

Kashmiri Fest at Doon International School here was celebrated here on Sunday. 

“The cultural heritage of Kashmir which is an amalgamation of sorts was reflected in the Fest organized by the management, staff and students of Doon International School, Srinagar. The Fest was graced and appreciated for its Kashmiri ambience by  Muhammad Akbar Khan, founder of DIS Srinagar and Noor Muhammad MLA Batamaloo. They encouraged the students to participate with a spirit of learning and joy and they applauded DIS for excellent coordination, efforts and for its all round success, and wishing a better future for the students,” the school said in a statement. 

Chairperson DIS Srinagar Showkat Hussain Khan said “this initiative by the school is to nurture child management skills, social skills and also providing opportunities to interact with the community and bringing the society together at the same platform.”
