The shooting of Bollywood feature film Sargoshiyan began here on Friday on the banks of Nigeen club here. 

The film is being produced by actor-turned producer Imran Khan. “The film will be shot extensively on the beautiful locales of Srinagar. We would be shooting in Dal lake, Foreshore road and Shalimar garden. Besides we will shoot some scenes in Doodhpathri and Awantipora,” said Imran Khan. 

Khan said the film is about brotherhood and resilience of Kashmiris. “There is no violence or politics in the film. It is all about human relationships,” Khan said. 

The film stars Shahbaz Khan, Sara Khan, Fareeda Jalal. “Besides there are many Kashmiris artists in the film. I and the crew enjoyed the first day of our shooting. ,” Khan said.    

“I was encouraged to shot in Kashmir after Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed invited filmmakers to shoot in Valley during his recent visit to Mumbai. Director Tourism Mehmood Shah extended all support for our shooting,” Khan said.
