A group of 161 persons including students and other travelers of different districts across Kashmir were sent to their homes after completing their 14 days quarantine period on Monday.
An official said the group of 161 people was directly shifted to quarantine centre from Srinagar airport on March 24 after they returned from outside states and foreign countries.
They were allowed to go home after they tested negative for Covid-19 after completing quarantine period.
Meanwhile, an official extended gratitude to the health officials, police personnel and district administration Srinagar for providing all facilities to the people during their quarantine period.
“We are thankful to health officials, police personnel who remained attached to these quarantined people during this period,” a parent said.
“The district administration also provided all the facilities to them which is appreciable. We are thankful to them,” he said.
