200 specially-abled children provided free aid at Rainawari school

Chief education officer Srinagar organized a free distribution cum fitment camp under SSA at Rainawari during which more than 200 specially-abled children were provided with free aids worth Rs 10.00 lakh.

The event was held in the premises of zonal education office, Rainawari. Director School Education Kashmir Dr. GN Itoo was the chief guest on this occasion. In his address, he said the government is going to establish one residential school each in Srinagar and Jammu for them in which they will be provided with quality education as well as residential facilities. 

   

During the function these specially-abled children were provided with wheelchairs, smart phone, daisy player, MR kit, ADL kit, Hearing aids, braille kit and other aids. Others who spoke included joint director Central Abid Hussain, 

State Coordinator SSA TR Mangotra, chief education officer Srinagar, Mudasir Kaleem Fazili. The function was hosted by media coordinator School Education, Fayyaz Ahmad Fayyaz.

To mention about 800 specially-abled children are enrolled in the Government schools of district Srinagar and among them more than 200 children were provided with these free aids during the function.
