Police on Thursday said it arrested three gamblers and seized Rs 10,500 stake money from the gambling site.
A statement said following an input about gamblingactivities, a police party from police station MR Gunj raided a gambling siteand arrested three gamblers.
The statement said the poluice party also seized playingcards and stake money of Rs 10,500 from the gamblers.
A case (FIR No.09/2020) has been registered at policestation MR Gunj and investigation into the matter has been taken up.
“Persons found indulging in criminal activities shall bedealt as per law. Community members are requested to share informationregarding the crimes in their neighbourhood with local police units,” said thestatement.
