Police today said it arrested four gamblers during a raid here. “Four gamblers were arrested following a credible input about gambling activities at Chinar Bagh area of the city. Officers seized playing cards and a stake amount of Rs 6,500 from the gamblers.
Case FIR No. 27/2019 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Kothibagh. Persons found indulging in criminal activities shall be dealt as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighborhood to the local police units,” police spokesperson said in a statement.
