On the directions of incarcerated Awami Action Committee (AAC) president and APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, a relief camp was setup at SMHS hospital here.
In a statement, AAC spokesperson said on the occasion, food was provided to the people attending hundreds of patients at different hospitals in Srinagar.
The statement said the camp was jointly set up by AAC and Darul Khair outside SMHS Hospital.
“Youth of AAC and Darul Khair have been put on foot voluntarily and are distributing water bottles and food packets on a large scale outside hospitals,” the statement said. Mirwaiz directed the workers and activists of ACC to provide full assistance to injured persons and attendants.
