Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Friday said that divisional administration has miserably failed to ensure basic facilities to people.
NC spokesperson in a statement said Party’s General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar who toured many localities of Srinagar was apprised by the local residents about the “slack attitude” of the incumbent administration in mitigating the problems.
“There is no accountability on ground; the fate of the vital projects which were initiated during the NC led government has been put into a limbo. Not even a single penny is being spent on the up gradation of road infrastructure in the Shaher-e-Khaas areas,” Sagar said.
“Srinagar has conventionally suffered on development front whenever NC has not been in power. We are aware of the development needs of the city which is the face of our state, however the former BJP-PDP government didn’t rise up to the demands of the historical city. Nevertheless, when in power the party will come up with a comprehensive plan for all round development of the city and its people,” he said.
