Advisor to the Governor Khurshid Ahmed Ganai visited Hajj House at Bemina on Thursday to take firsthand appraisal of arrangements made for Hajj pilgrims.
The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Khan and ChiefExecutive, State Hajj Committee Abdul Salam Mir, were also present on theoccasion.
Ganai, who is also Chairman of the State Hajj Committee,went around the residential premises and interacted with the Hajis. He directedthe Executive Officer State Hajj Committee to ensure that all arrangements werein place so that Hajis board their flights from Srinagar Airport in ahassle-free manner.
He also asked the EO to maintain close liaison withofficials of the State Hajj Committee and Hajj Committee of India in SaudiaArabia to facilitate Hajis there.
The Advisor wished the Hajis safe journey to the Holy landas well as their return home.
