Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai today visited the residence of late Ghulam Hassan Banday, head priest of Dargah Hazratbal Shrine and expressed sympathies with his family members.
Paying tributes to the deceased, Advisor called Banday anoble soul who served the religious sentiments of people of the valleythroughout his life. He said that his lifelong role would be remembered for alltimes to come. He also expressed that the void left by his departure would behard to be filled by anybody else.
Meanwhile, Jamiat-e-Hamdani Chief Moulana Riyaz AhmadHamdani paid rich tributes to lateBanday while hailing his unflinching services at Dargah Hazratbal. He expressedsympathies with the bereaved family.
