Cluster University Srinagar today organized one-day workshop on ‘Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence’ here at department of Physics, SP College.
The workshop was attended by University staff and membersfrom other institutions. The participants were made aware of the significanceof Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence and its relevance in diversescientific fields, through lectures by different experts.
Speaking on the occasion Vice-Chancellor of the University,Prof Sheikh Javid Ahmed gave insight about application and advancement of theQuantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence and urged young generation tocome forward and embrace modern and advanced fields of scientific research.
The workshop was managed by Dr Gowher Hussain Bhat,assistant professor Physics with the support of Prof Mohammad Aslam Baba, deanengineering and technology at Cluster University.
Earlier, Principal SP College Khursheed Ahmad Khan welcomedthe guests. In his inaugural speech, Prof Baba made a presentation on therelevance of Physics, quantum mechanics and roadmap to quantum computing.
