Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) today asked the general public not to undertake any construction in its territorial jurisdiction of the LAWDA without seeking permission from the competent authority.
“It is also impressed that no construction activity within 200 meters from lake, green belt should come up and the violators shall be dealt with strictly under the law. Illegal constructions, if undertaken, will be demolished by the authority,” PRO LAWDA Malik Tariq said in a statement.
He said the enforcement wing of LAWDA has been directed to continue demolition drive against illegal constructions.
