Div Com visits 24×7 Covid-19 call centre at Old Secretariat

In the backdrop of threat from the deadly Coronavirus, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole today visited round the clock operating Covid-19 call centre established by the government to create awareness and inform people about the precautions required to be taken against COVID-19.

He was informed that the call centre is working in threeshifts and is manned by an adequate number of doctors and paramedical staff whoare providing information to people round the clock. Besides, toll-free numbershave been set up to receive any kind of information and respond to distresscalls by way of providing counseling.

   

 He was furtherinformed that the Call Centre is ready to deal with any situation and isfollowing the standard operating procedure prescribed by the government.

The Divisional Commissioner directed concerned to maintainproper inventory besides show dedication and inter-departmental coordinationwhile receiving distress calls.

To reduce any eventuality, he also directed them to sharereal time information with the higher authorities.
