In continue to Plantation Drive, started by Chief Justice of High Court of J&K, Justice Gita Mittal, DLSA Srinagar today organized Plantation Drives and sensitization programme on Corona virus.
The plantation drives were organized at Govt. Boys HighSchool Balhama and at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Chanapora inwhich a sizable number of students participated.
It was informed that 200government and private schools have been identified for further plantationdrives to be organized by DLSA Srinagar in collaboration with Urban ForestryDivision Srinagar.
Secretary, DLSA, Adnan Sayeed stressed the students to planttrees to save future and take precautions and safety measures to tackle threatof Corona virus.
Maisar-ul- Zaman Range Officer and other officials of UrbanForestry Division were also present beside Principal and staff Members of bothschools.
