Dramhuk Vestaar, a collection of stage radio-TV plays was released by renowned poet, writer and broadcaster Farooq Nazki at Tagore Hall here.
The book has been authored by renowned play-writer ShowkatShahri. ‘Dramhuk Vestaar’ has collection of three stage plays three radio playand two-tele scripts. The writer has also written a detailed article on theatreplay.
A detailed paper on the books was presented by ShahbaazHaakbaari. Bashir Dada renowned play wright and poet Prana Shangloo were guestof honour while Farooq Nazki was the chief guest.
Nisar Naseem anchored the book release function. He stressedfor organizing workshops for drama writers directors and artists and urgedcultural institutions to take initiative in this regard.
“I hope that the collection of plays by Shahri will addone more feather in the cap of good stage play,” Naseem said.
