The Srinagar district election authorities today said they have put in place elaborate arrangements across the district to prevent bogus voting in polling for Lok Sabha elections to Srinagar Parliamentary constituency on
An official statement said multilayered arrangements includeflying squads, micro-observers and videographers besides zonal and sectormagistrates put in place across the district to ensure no attempts at bogusvoting are allowed to occur.
District Election Officer Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary saidensuring complete fairness in polling forms a major focus of arrangements putin place for elections. He said dedicated squads have been put in place in allconstituencies across the district.
The statement said instances or complaints of bogus votingcan be reported to squad heads for 18-Hazratbal segment at 9419010054,19-Zadibal segment at 9419019289, 20-Eidgah segment at 9622449422, 21-Khanyarsegment at 9797212195, 22-Habba Kadal segment at 9419016652, 23-Amira Kadalsegment at 9419434432, 24-Sonwar segment at 9419068011 and 25-Batamaloo segmentat 7006974031 respectively.

Dr Shahid has urged the general public to report complaintsof bogus voting to designated squad heads and ensure immediate and strictestaction against cases.
