Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA) Tuesday clarified that the land-filling of flood spill channel near Ram Bagh bridge aimed at facilitating speedy work on the Jehangir Chowk Ram Bagh (JCRB) flyover adding that the site would be cleared by March.
"This spell of the year is idle for construction of bridges and the base work is usually completed during the dry season from October to March. Same we are exploring for the completion of the JCRB flyover piling in this stretch," the official told Greater Kashmir.
He said the site would be cleared once the work is completed adding that ERA was committed on the timely completion of the prestigious JCRB flyover work. "We have been working day and night and we will continue with the endeavor."
The ERA projects which would otherwise be infamous for chronic delay in completion, are believed to have geared up since Tahseen Mustafa took over as Chief Executive Officer ERA.
