Police today arrested two absconders who were evading arrest since 1998.
Police spokesperson in a statement said police party headedby Nikhil Borker SHO R.M Bagh under the supervision of SDPO Nehru Park Dr.Sachit Sharma-JKPS and SP East Sheema Nabi succeeded in arresting twoabsconders.
“They have been identified as Mehraj Din Bhat son ofMohd Sidiq and Javed Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohd both residents of Zoonimar Srinagar. They were wanted by lawfor their involvement in Case FIR No. 218/1998 of PS Ram Mushi Bagh Srinagarand were evading their arrest since long. Both the arrested accused have beenproduced before 3rd Additional Judicial Magistrate 1st Class Srinagar. Peopleof the area widely appreciated the action of Police Station Ram MunshiBagh,” the statement said.
