Residents of Firdousabad Batamaloo have expressed resentment against the government for failing to undertake developmental activities in the area after devastating floods in 2014.
A delegation from the area that the entire drainage system collapsed post deluge. But till date the authorities have failed to reconstruct it. “As a result, the drains overflow in the locality making it difficult to move,” they said.
“Despite taking up the issue repeatedly with the concerned authorities, there has been no relief,” they added.
