Abiroo Shafi son of Muhammad Shafi Bhat of Khawajapora Nowgam, who was the cousin of Greater Kashmir senior editor Hilal Mir, passed away last night.
Family sources said Abiroo suddenly passed away in his sleep. The mourning will be held for three days only till 13 March, Tuesday and there won’t be any congregational ceremony.
Meanwhile, staffers of Greater Kashmir and its sister concern Kashmir Uzma held a condolence meeting in which they prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
