Dr Haseeb Mughal has assumed the charge of senior superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar relieving Imtiaz Ismail Parray, who has been posted officer on special duty to Advisor for Home affairs K Vijay Kumar.
Since the implementation of governor rule, Dr Haseeb, a 1999 batch JKPS officer was posted OSD to Advisor for Home Affairs. On Tuesday he was transferred and posted as SSP Srinagar.
Dr Haseeb has served in various capacities and had served as SSP Baramulla, SSP Rajouri, SSP CID (SBK), SP Handwara and SSP Vigilance Jammu. Meanwhile Abdul Qayoom also assumed charge as SSP Baramulla relieving Imtiyaz Hussain Mir who has been posted as SSP security Kashmir.
