The Jammu and Kashmir Centre of Institution of Engineers, India (IEI) in collaboration with SSM College of Engineering today observed the World Environment Day.
Chairman Pollution Control Board (PCB) Ravi Kumar Kesarinaugurated the event, titled ‘Air Pollution’. Chief Conservator Forests SyedFarooq Gillani, Vice Chairperson SSM College of Engineering Dilafroze Qazi werethe Guest of Honor on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Kesar congratulated the organizersfor organizing such an event which creates awareness among mass about theimportance of the environment. In his welcome address Chairman IEI Amir Alisaid that IEI is a national organization of over ten lakh engineers thatprovides technological and scientific solutions to day to day challenge.
