He said that the packs of stray dogs are a common sight inplaces like Hyderpora, Rawalpora, Peerbagh , Barzulla  and several other uptown areas of Srinagar.

It seems that the SrinagarMunicipal Corporation is unaware of various laws regarding how to check growthof stray dogs. Some of the dogs in these uptown areas are rabid. The problem iscompounded as the stray dogs chase motorists causing accidents. Presence ofstray dogs has hampered movement of people especially students,” Laigaroosaid.
