Senior Hurriyat Conference (M) leader Professor Abdul Gani Bhat on Sunday advocated formation of a united Hurriyat by appealing all the separatist parties to come under one single platform the way it was in 1993.
Speaking at a seminar here, Prof Bhat said, “Given thechanging global political scenario, we must adopt a route that can lead us tothe final destination. India and Pakistan must realise the need for resolvingthe Kashmir issue for the larger interests of the people of South Asia and forthat the two nations must take some bold steps.”
He urged all the separatist leaders and parties to join theHurriyat led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq stating that “let there be one single platform and a jointstrategy so that we march ahead collectively,” he said.
