Residents of various areas falling within the domain of Badamibagh Cantonment Board Tuesday appealed authorities to lift the unattended garbage.
Locals of Shivpora, Sonwar, Indra Nagar and Batwaraexpressed resentment over accumulation of tons of garbage in these areas.
“Tons of garbage has accumulated near Hotel Ruthanabehind GB Pant Hospital. In absence of failure of authorities to life garbage,people are forced dump garbage at this spot,” said a local.
The aggrieved locals appealed to Cantonment Boardauthorities to look into the matter and clear accumulated garbage at theearliest.
