Lt Gen J S Sandhu inaugurates computer museum at DPS Athwajan

Addressing the gathering, Lt Gen Sandhu gave them a brief insight into the evolution of technology with an aim to inspire them towards research and innovation in the field of science and technology.

Lt Gen J S Sandhu, Chinar Corps Commander inaugurated a computer museum at DPS Athwajan 

In a statement, Army spokesperson said, “the computer museum is in continuation with the effort to give an impetus to improve the infrastructure and facilities for technical education in Kashmir.”

Addressing the gathering, Lt Gen Sandhu gave them a brief insight into the evolution of technology with an aim to inspire them towards research and innovation in the field of science and technology. 

“He further highlighted the revolutionary changes brought about by the advent of computers and information technology in our day-to-day lives and hoped that very soon a number of young scientists would be seen emerging out from the young minds of today,” the statement said.  

“The Corps Commander congratulated the school administration, teachers and staff for rendering a yeoman service to the nation. He also commended the team from Victor Force for their innovative approach and focus in creating this museum, which brings out a brief but lucid peek into the history of computer technology for the students of DPS,” the statement added.
