The department of orthopedics SKIMS Medical College Bemina on Wednesday held the first Cadaveric Operative Course (Orthopedic SKIMS Connect).
The organizers in a statement said department of AnatomySKIMS also participated in the course which was designed to demonstratedifficult approaches for the management of the acetabular fractures.
Delegates from all over the valley participated in thecourse.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal SKIMS Bemina MedicalCollege, who was the chief guest of the event, said more such programmes shouldbe organized in future.
The Head of department of Orthopaedics Prof Nazir Ahmad Mirlauded the faculty and residents of both departments for the milestone. The HODAnatomy Dr Ashfaqul Hassan extended his support for organising more such events.
The faculty which spoke on the occasion included Prof NAMir, Dr Saima , Prof GA Bhat , Dr Tahir A Dar, Dr Asif Sultan, Dr Kafeel, DrMuzaffar and Dr Sarwar. Dr Reyaz A Dar was organizing secretary of the event.
