Mayor Junaid Azim Mattu today visited Astanpora Rawalpora are here and directed for upliftment of facilities for devotees.
The Commissioner, SMC Gazanfar Ali, Joint Commissioner (Works) and other officers accompanied him.
During course of interaction, the locals put forth various issues and demands before the Mayor, who assured early redressalof the genuine issues. Mattu also called for creating a separate space for male and female devotees to maintain privacy within the shrine premises. He
With regard to the facility of streetlights within the premises of shrine and its adjoining areas ,Mattu passed on directions to the concerned to install highmast lights and make fully functional all the street lights.
He stressed on the need for having a community hall in the said area and asked concerned officials to prepare a detailed DPR.
