Ramban, Nov 5: Ramban Police traced a missing minor boy of Khari in Banihal from Chandni Chowk area of New Delhi and reunited him with his family on Sunday.
Police sources said on Thursday Gulam Nabi Naike son of Ali Mohammad Naike, a resident of Khari appeared at lodged a complaint at Police Post Khari, of Banihal that his 10 years old son went out of the house and did not return.
The complainant further stated that he had a suspicion that some unknown persons had kidnapped his son. Based on the written complaint a case FIR No.254 of 2023 under section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Banihal and an investigation was set into motion. They said a special police team was constituted by SSP Ramban Mohita Sharma to trace out the minor boy.
The police team, by making the best possible efforts, traced the minor boy from the Chandni Chowk area of Delhi with the help of technical assistance. The missing boy was reunited with the family by absorbing all legal formalities required under the law.
