Nigeen Tourism Trade Association (NTTA) has welcomed the initiation of process to install bio-digesters in houseboats in Dal Lake
“Houseboats are age-old tradition and by initiating this process it will meet the new-age technology.
Thanks to this easy-to-operate alternative to traditional waste disposal, bio-digesters are a great way of meeting new sustainable development goals while supporting the vision of cleaner lakes.
NTTA hopes that the process will be expedited and the same will be implemented in Nigeen Lake also,” chairman NTTA Manzoor Ahmad Wangoo said in a statement.
