As per the date sheet, students will get a break of only twodays, June 05 and June 06, in view of the Eid. “But the exact date will bedecided as per the appearance of moon. How can the school management decideabout it,” the parents said.

The parents have also submitted a representation to theschool principal asking the management to postpone the exams till Eid.

“The decision to hold exams in Ramadhan has put all of us ina fix. It is beyond our understanding why the school management has chosen thisperiod for exams,” reads the representation submitted to the school.

The parents said it was not practically possible forstudents to prepare for the exams during fasting. “We are not against theacademic calendar of the school but the feasibility of holding exams during thismonth of fasting should be taken into consideration,” it reads.

The principal of the school was not available for hercomments. The private secretary of the principal said they haven’t received anyrepresentation. “The parents should meet the principal. Let them submit arepresentation or meet as a delegation to put forth their demand,” he said.
