As a part of its public outreach programme, police held an interaction with youth at Police Station Soura.
The interactive session was chaired by SHO PS Soura andseveral youth from the neighbouring areas attended the meet.
“The youth were properly counselled about the illeffects of substance abuse and the negative impact of such habits on thepersonality of an individual, fabric of our society and general economicconditions of a family.
They were made aware that they can avail the opportunity ofseeking help from experts to tackle the menace of addiction with the assistanceof Police. Youth from the area pledged to work for a drug free society,”police said in a statement.
