The Principal, Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar Prof Parvaiz A Shah visited GB Pant children Hospital here on Wednesday to take stock of patient care facilities.
Prof Shah had an extensive tour of all sections of thehospital including neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric intensive care unitand casualty.
An official handout said thar the principal took stock ofmedicines and other consumables available at the hospital.
Medical Superintendent of the Hospital Dr Kanwaljeet Singhapprised the GMC Principal of progress on various fronts.
Prof Shah also inspected ongoing renovation and refurbishingworks at the hospital. He also reviewed staff availability and duty roasters.
The hospital staff, while interacting with Prof Shah apprisedhim of the issues faced by them at the hospital.
