,Noted academic and finance expert, Prof Mohiuddin Sangmi has taken over as Dean College Development Council (DCDC), University of Kashmir.
Author of five books and 65 research papers published ininternational/ national journals, Prof Sangmi has acted as advisor, UnionPublic Service Commission, member of Chief Minster’s Task Force on IndustrialDevelopment, J&K State Audit Advisory Board under the auspices ofComptroller and Auditor General of India and member of various committees ofthe NAAC, UGC and MHRD.
He has held various administrative positions at KU whichinclude dean, faculty of commerce and management studies, director, Directorateof Distance Education, director, UGC Human Resource Development Center, head,department of business and financial studies, head department of commerce andProvost/ Chief Warden.
