The commissioner secretary forest, environment and ecology, Saurabh Bhagat Thursday chaired a meeting here to review status of Observation Book (OB) items and audit paras in the Audit and Inspection Reports (AIRs) received from accountant general office and directorate of audit and Inspections J&K.
The CAG paras and reconciliation of expenditure and revenue for 2017-18 were also discussed in the meeting. The meeting was attended by PCCF/chief wildlife warden, managing director State Forest Corporation, principal chief conservator of forests, project director IWDP, director environment, ecology and remote sensing, director social forestry, director soil and water conservation, director forest protection force, director state forest research Institute, director finance forest department, and chief accounts officer SPCB.
The commissioner secretary impressed upon the HODs to clear the outstanding OB items and audit paras on priority. He asked the HODs to arrange an audit committee meeting with the AG office in order to settle the outstanding audit paras.
It was said the HODs and DDOs will continuously liaise with AG office to immediately settle the outstanding issues.
