TCI chairman Abdul Ahad Trumboo passes away

Noted businessman Haji Abdul Ahad Trumboo, chairman Trumboo Cement Industries (TCI), passed away after a brief illness on Saturday.

People from different walks of life participated in hisNimaz-i-Janaza at his Nishat residence. He was laid to rest at the family’sancestral graveyard.

   

Various social, political and religious organisations havecondoled the demise. Jammu and Kashmir National Conference president Dr FarooqAbdullah and vice president Omar Abdullah have expressed grief over the demise.

The duo in their condolence message said that “lateTrumboo apart from being successful businessmen was a philanthropist to thecore.” The duo while praying for peace to the soul of deceased said theTrumboo shall be remembered for his pious and humanitarian values.

Various NC leaders including additional general secretaryDr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Political Advisor to Vice President Tanvir Sadiq, YNCprovincial president Salman Ali Sagar participated in his Nimaz e Jinazah.

Party General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, provincialpresident Nasir Aslam Wani, chief spokesperson Syed Aga Ruhullah, provincialspokesperson Imran Nabi Dar have also expressed grief over the demise ofTrumboo.

Member of Parliament Hasnain Masoodi has also condoled thedemise. ‘Late Trumboo was a visionary businessman, a pious and a philanthropicperson whose contribution in the fields of business and public welfare will beremembered for a long time,” he said.

People’s Democratic Party (PDP) president and former ChiefMinister Mehbooba Mufti has also condoled the demise.

Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Mehboobadescribed the deceased as a veteran businessman, philanthropist and a greathuman being. PDP senior leader and former minister Naeem Akhtar in hiscondolence message said late Trumboo a Philantrophist will be remembered fortimes to come for his charitable activities.

Condoling the demise, former MLA and PDP spokesperson RafiAhmad Mir said “Late Trumboo was a visionary and a business leader who haddedication and commitment, contributing in changing lives of others. His spiritto uplift the downtrodden is his legacy.” Expressing solidarity with thebereaved family, Mir prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul andstrength to his family.

Peoples Conference Chairman Sajad Gani Lone has expressedprofound grief over the demise. “May Allah grant him the highest place inJannah and give strength and patience to the bereaved family in this difficulthour,” Lone said. Peoples Conference (PC) general secretary and formerminister, Imran Ansari also condoled the demise.

President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee GA Mir describedlate Trumboo as a great person and philanthropist. “He will be remembered for along for his good qualities and services to the poor and needy.” Mir conveyeddeepest condolences to bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to departedsoul. JKPCC Vice President and former MLC G N Monga also condoled the demise.
