Residents of various areas of south city complained of frequent theft incidents from past few weeks.
A delegation of residents from Madina Enclave Rawalpora here expressed concern over theft incidents in the locality.
The residents said several houses were burgled in the area recently. “So far police has failed to nab accused. Theft incidents in the locality have created sense of insecurity among the inhabitants,” they said.
A delegation from Bagh-e-Mehtab said complained of frequent theft incidents. “A house was burgled in broad day light recently. It seems to be handiwork of some gang,” locals said.
Residents of Hyderpora also expressed resentment over theft incidents in the area. “We make a fervent appeal to concerned police officers to arrest accused at the earliest to restore sense of security,” they said.
