Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday arrested two peddlers from Soura area of Srinagar.
A police official in a statement said that the duo- Aarif Ahmed Mir of Umer colony Lalbazar and Waseem Ahmed Dar of Hakeem Mohalla Lalbazar were arrested at Soura.
“28 bottles of codeine were seized from their possession,” said a police official, adding that the arrest was conducted by SDPO Hazratbal Rameez Rasheed Bhat.
